Corsa Easytronic - tonyh
I am interested in a Corsa easytronic as a replacement for a 205 auto,does anyone have any experiences good or bad of this car.

I've got a 1.2 but its not an easytronic, just normal manual. HJ doesn't rate the easytronic (has doubts over long term reliablity) but an elderly person I know has just bought one to replace his manual astra and thinks its fantastic and really easy to use.
As for the rest of the car, well its perfectly acceptable- plenty nippy enough, solid inside and if you get an SXi like mine a decent enough handler. Downsides are porr visibility front and rear in the 3-dr and poor ride quality.

Drove one on a short test run a view years back. It is not a bad gearshift, once you get used to the idea that you have to take your foot of the throttle to get smooth gear shifts.

At the time, however, the Vauxhall dealer was asking around £12000 for for a GL (I think), which wasn't a very attractive proposition.
