There seems to be an slow but noticable increase in threads going off topic and also becoming too much of a "boys club" amongst regulars here.
It does no favours for old and new members alike whose threads are being turned into nothing but waffle & inane babble.
This stops right here and now.
If spotted early enough a warning will be posted; but if left because one of us hasn't been paying attention then the delete key will be used and that's when genuine posts are lost in amongst the removal process.

I've revived my previous message as there is an increase in the amount of personal chatting going on again and it's high time you were reminded of it.
I won't name the main culprits - you *should* know who you are.
Don't be suprised if things start getting deleted. Make of that statement what you will. I might not just mean posts, but accounts as well. You have been warned.
