The windscreen washers on my 97 Micra have packed up front & back.The wipers are working ok,the information in the Haynes manual shows seperate washer pumps not easy to check, any ideas.

This happened to my Gran's Micra which is a similar age. I think the problem was corroded contacts on the washer bottle, so it was a simple fix but awkward to get to as the bottle is in the wheelarch.
