My 2 litre LX Mondeo fitted with rear disc brakes, had to have rear wheel bearings replaced at 35785 miles. Now at 43500 miles the bearings are noisy again. Although the first replacement is still under a Ford Dealer's guarantee, I am concerned that another replacement will have an equally short life.
If you have experienced the same problem, what action did you take? Was it successful?

Not a Mondeo and not even rear discs but I can tell you my Focus eats the damn things. I've had 3 changed and it's just luck of the draw I think.
One was changed at 20,000 and then fine and 2 have gone in the past 10k (on 65k now with just one original bearing). I know of someone on a Ford Forum who changed his a 9k!!!
I'm sure someone will be along soon with something more constructive though.
