Can anybody please help me. My Megane speedo has stopped working. It started a few months ago when the speedo was a little erratic and kept bouncing up and down. I then replaced the head gasket and since then it is not working. The speedo is electronic and when i drive the diagnostic light comes on. Could it be an earth problem? Any ideas would be great. Many thanks

this is a fairly common fault on Megane range.usually caused by wiring problems to road speed sensor.Locate sensor at rear of gearbox ,access from top of engine bay,check 3-pin connector & wire in an additional earth lead to negative line.(could be black but check it).This will also cause the diag light to illuminate.
