A21 Tailback this morning! - v8man
Did any Back roomers get stuck in the rather long tailback on the A21 Sevenoaks Bypass this morning? If so, sorry. The water pump on my Range Rover seized solid and the serpentine belt got a little hot and smoke billowed out from under the bonnet. I bailed out blocking the inside lane. It took 3 hours for the AA to recover me.

New pump and belt arriving Friday morning. That's the afternoon sorted. Touch wood this is the only failure I've had on this car. Thats done it!

I thought of you a few days ago, v8man!

Enjoying a sun blessed ride on the Hornet down the A413 from Buckingham to Aylesbury, I chanced upon a Range Rover, bonnet up, with what looked suspicously like a growing puddle of coolant between the front wheels...

At least bikes don't get stuck in the tailback (okay, in truth, there wasn't one, but you know what I mean!)

Hope you got yours fixed as planned.
