Peugeot 306 HDI phase 3 remote

Peugeot 306 HDI phase 3 remote - paul_hdi
Hey there,

I have purchase a new remote plip for my "306 Phase 3" with the trim level "L" being the most basic, could it be that my car might not have a RF reciever or whatever it is that is needed with remote central locking??

I hope this is not the case.

I have managed to get the immobiliser working correctly, just the buttons don't seem to do anything,

any help would be greatly appreciated,

Sorry - I'm not great on Peugeots but is there not some sort of programming procedure you have to go through with these? I'd imagine this would be detailed in the manual.

Did it come with Remote central locking? If not it might not have the reciever, or it might not be set up in the ECU

both will require a garage with the right kit and money from your wallet.

You can program the early Ph1 IR remotes yourself, but the later RF found on the Ph2 and above need dealer 'assistance' ie more money.
