Aston Martin Win at Sebring - smokie
Aston entered the new DB9 in it's first race over the weekend - the 12 hours of Sebring - and WON in the GT1 class!! This is the first race of the 2005 ALMS (American Le Mans Series). See www.astonmartinracing.com/news4_19_03_05.htm for more.

I was lucky enough to be in the grandstand over the Aston pits during the final stages of the race, and to be one of the first British supporters to get to the pit lane and congratulate Dave Richards.

Sports car racing beats F1 by miles for spectator-friendly circuits and teams, and sheer entertainment. Watch out for the re-runs - although I'm not sure whether it is scheduled anywhere yet.
