Auctions buyers beware - My 406 Estate - Bill Payer
My Peugeot 406 Exec Estate has gone back to its leasing company today after 3 yrs and 76000 miles.
I don't want to post the reg no here, but if you see a Black 406 Estate, with Beige leather interior in extremely good condtion at an auction soon then DON'T buy it!!!
The car is fitted with 2.0 HPI (Petrol) engine, which was a low emmissions experiment by Peugeot/Citroen. They dropped it after a year or so.
Mine hasn't worked properly (hesitation/stuttering/flat performance) for 18 mths and has spent many wks in the dealers. The emissions warning light has been on for most of that time and I don't see how the car could pass a (legitimate) MOT.
