Despite the scarborough warnings from various weathermen I got up at 6 am to drive from Leeds to Newcastle in the snow. Except there wasn't much snow. Took 2.5 hours to drive 115 miles. Coming home at 1230 even quicker. No problem with snow, more spray than anything else. Temperature went up the further north I went. Weathermen - namby pamby southern jesses the lot of 'em.
