HJ Etiquette - kippax1966
I have been visiting this site for a year or so, learning loads, and buying a couple of cars at auction with help from the forums - so thank you one and all.

Today I saw HJ for the first time at Blackbushe. Should I have said hello, thanked him for his hard work and advice, or would he, as I suspected, prefer to be left in peace?

Any advice if it happens again in the future.....

Has anyone else noticed the remarkable similarity between Honest John and Dave Angel from the Fast Show?

Haha. Erm....no? Why on earth would you think that????

Faddy - so did I, but that was a few years ago now. How well I remember the loooong walk from the nearest place to park.

..and the time it took to leave the car park afterwards.

I can't now remember where we parked, but it was way back on the road that goes towards Reading. Getting out of the car park wasn't the issue, finding the car was.

'Twas my privilege to meet his HJ-ness at the Ace Cafe last July and I have the photo to prove it. Growlette is forever jealous.

It was well worth the visit to meet you both and have a chat.
I was lucky that it was within range from my home.

I cannot comment on this.
