My first diesel very impressed. Would like to know whether I follow same advice as for petrol in regards to oil changes(every 6k), and using Shell or Texaco for fillups?? Any one tried BP ultimate? Is it worth the extra?
Also a friend of mine recommends putting a K&N filter kit on to improve performance and economy. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

Mine's a Fusion TDCi - virtually the same.
There's lots of conflicting advice about oil change intervals and branded fuels, and the advice applies as much or as little to the Fiesta TDCi as another other car. Check out the Forum Search facility.
For what its worth, I choose to buy the cheapest diesel from whatever source (usually supermarket), and will buy Ford's own brand oil (Formula E 5w-30), own brand filters and own brand antifreeze as per the handbook. The recommended oil change interval is 12,500 miles or 1 year, which I will keep to while the car is under its 3-year warranty.
