Peugeot 406 V6 Coupe Problems - Wales Forester
Brother's 406 Coupe has developed a couple of problems.

1) The trip computer display is only showing the outside temperature - nothing else - any ideas where to start?

2) The main beam warning light isn't working. Assuming this is the bulb in the instrument cluster, how easy is it to change. I have found a previous thread for getting into the dash on a 406 saloon, is the Coupe dash similar?

Any knowledge much appreciated.

The Coupe dash is the same, quite easy to do.
I don't know about the trip computer.

Quick update, we took the speedo binnacle out yesterday afternoon and were surprised to find no bulb or holder in the main beam light socket. Fitted a bulb and holder and all seems well. Surprisingly the job only took about 15 minutes for a couple of amateurs to do.

It has been suggested that the '97 SE V6 Coupes didn't have the trip computer function, does anyone know whether this is true or not?
It seems odd to have a big display with only the outside temp shown in top right corner.
