Hi,
I have just realised that my interior blower only works on number 4 setting.
1-3 don?t work, just 4.
Has anybody got any ideas as to what the problem could be?

That sounds like the resistor has failed. It shouldn't cost you much to replace.

right, heres an update.
went to replace my heater resister today, but to my horror i couldnt get it out. was not able to find any screw which was holding it in place, tried to lift it up then pull it out. have taken a photo to help you look at the problem ive got, but cant post the picture here, check out this link for the pic www.fordmondeo.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/N...0, click on the attachment.
the old one is a diffrent colour so are the wires.

yeah, but that shows the one fitted with the torx screw. my old one (which is still fitted) its black plastic , not white & HAS NOT got any screw holding it in place. i cant seem to remove it to replace it.

its all been replaced now. have found out that the old style (screwless version) was replaced in 1995, so models after that 1995 should have the new style (torx screw version).
hey they do say that we learn something new everyday.
