No style. No style at all. The smart way to do it is to read the crossword with one hand whilst searching the web for the solutions on your iPaq with the other.

Let the chauffeur drive ... then you can sit in whichever seat you like, and do the crosword with both hands.
If you don't have a chauffeur, then some folks suggest that a resaonable substiutute is a husband ... except that then you are unlikely to be driven any place you actually want to go to.
Anyway, what are y'all moaning about? There's nothing about crosswords in the highway code, and most backroomers would have to stand on the brakes to see a car doing 85 for long enough to tell whether the driver was still there ....
