we bought a system 4 years ago, from Argos cost £120 for 2 screens and a double dvd player including 2 remotes and 2 sets of headphones.

the screens attach to the front headrests and the children can either both watch the same film, or you an connect the screens up to the different players and they can then watch different films at the same time....with a remote control for each player....

its been great on family holidays down the the west country, we do the first couple of hours with just music. then stop for breakfast, set up the screens and the kids are ready for the final couple of hours....our player was made by acustic solutions...

but something like this would do....2x 7" screens (Philps) and games for £150.

Bought a Nextbase on Amazon last Xmas for 2 of grandchildren- 2& 6 yrs old.

It was £110 IIRC and does the deed.

I looked at a car last week that had 2 screens plumbed into the headrest - looked good but not worth the megabucks the 1st owner paid - well it was an ex-demo car so may have been installed as part of the demo kit. It was £1000+ according to the dealer - justifying his Book Price + £1500 admittedly it was also low mileage.

I offered £300 less and wanted 12 mths RFL but was turned down - left my phone number in case he changes his mind - been in stock> 3 months.
