Anybody got any ideas, I have try Hammerite but it just burns of as the exhaust gets very hot. The scooter is a Gilera runner 180 vxr. I had thought of a manifold paint but can`t come up with anything.

a couple of products i came across were:-
DUPLI-COLOR 500-1100 DEG IN ALUMINIUM SHADES (allegedly availiable at wal-mart stores)
V.H.T CALIPER AND DRUM PAINT.(resists temps up to 1400 degs)

There is an aerosol spray paint for barbecues which could be used for this if you're not too fussy about the colour - matt black. I've used it for this pupose in the past. Think Wilkinsons sell it.

I would have thought most, if not all car accessory shops sell exhaust paint. I certainly remember buying some silver exhaust paint for one of my old motorbikes.
