95 Volvo 440 rear lamp unit

95 Volvo 440 rear lamp unit - Marc
Evening all, our second car is a 95N Volvo 440 and I'm in the process of attending to various jobs on it whilst the weather's good. One problem is one of the rear lamp units. After it rains it mists up - presumably with rainwater running down the tailgate gutter and into the top of the unit somehow.

Anybody got any experience of this particular problem? Can the lamp unit be resealed at the top with a standard mastic type product?

Not certain of your model.but I remember probs on 740`s with lens cracking in a few places.clear silicon was what I used assuming your problem is the same.
