Can anyone help with this specific question?
I am about to fit a (second hand) tow bar to my 1995 Rover 820i and have noticed in the Haynes manual I have, covering 1986 to 1995, that the wiring diagram shows connections to a 'Trailer Socket'
Is such a socket provided in the loom. and where might I actually find it?
I have removed the trim inside the boot to access the rear light wiring but can't find a socket anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Hope the following is useful, will be interesting to see if your car (which is newer than the example given) has a towbar electrics socket in the same place.
