Does anyone out there have a tuning box in a 2000 406 90bhp
If so what are the positives and negatives sides of it
Has anyone seen any problems as a result of having it installed

I've had tuning boxes on a couple of cars and can only sing their praises. Yes, granted, you might see a little more smoke fromt he exhaust under very hard use, but that's about it. The fuel consumption penalty was negligable.
What power outputs are claimed? I woudl guess in the region of 115-120 Brake?
It would certainly 'wake up' a 90 Brake 406, that's for sure!

Sorry, only just seen this.
I've had a chipped 90hp 406 since June and it's flippin' great! The pull is amazing and the fuel economy is excellent.
I'm selling my Pug and the guy that is buying is coming tomorrow. If you wish I can change the chip for the original, and then I can sell the 116hp chip. Cost £300 from upsolute.com. Cost to you - £150. Bargain! Dead easy to fit as well.
