While driving on the M4 today I followed a peugeot 206 for a number of miles with its brake lights illuminated. This is the fourth 206 I have seen with this problem over the last few months.
I reckon it is a serious enough safety defect to warrant a recall, I don't know if any Peugeot owners are aware of one. If not, all 206 owners please have your brake light switch checked!

Followed one on M8 yesterday, exact same problem. All 3 lights lit up for full journey.

Now you come to mention it....

Think about it - who drives 206's ? I apologise on behalf of my wife and all womanhood who keep their shopping bags around their legs when they drive

The stop lamp switch on a 206 is in the passenger footwell - it is easily kicked/knocked out of adjustment by the passengers feet.
Nest time you're in a 206, have a gander. You'll see what I mean.
