My tank is corroded and actually dripping. The car is a rover 214 - 8 valve. I\'ve been quoted £250-£300 parts and labour from an independant. Is this a fair price?

Doesn't sound too far off the mark - but it might be worth trying a motor factor for a pattern tank - I've fitted a few (Msde in Canada, funnily enough!) with no problems.
