Checked the coolant level? Loss of heater is often the first sign of a lack of engine coolant.
Range Rover 4.6 custoemr rang up on Monday; "My heater is blowing cold air"
Me - "Have you checked your engine coolant level?"
"Well, I did last month, and it was OK...."
There......weekly level checks go a long way these days!

I had this problem on a 98 Fiesta and it was down to the heater valve (on the bulkhead) which had failed.
Apparently this is very common and I would guess your Fiesta uses a similar part?
It cost me about 40 quid for the part and its a 20 minute job to swap it over.

Hi there,
I rather suspect you fault is the heater control valve mounted on the bulkhead as mentioned on another reply to this post.
I have had the same fault on my own fiesta and it was the valve.
Hope this helps.
