Road Services - Oh how I laughed - Leon on Derv
This morning as I was getting ready to leave for work I looked out of my house to see the gritter rattling down the road spreading its trail of salt.

As I left for work about 45 minutes later, the road sweeper took the exact same route and cleaned up the mess the gritter had made.

Nice to see some careful planning going into how my taxes are being spent!

It did put a huge smile on my face which isn't easily done at that time of the morning!!!!!

Obviously Leon, they ARE saving you money. The road sweeper returns the grit to the depot, the gritter is reloaded and sent out again. They can therefore grit the whole county with one gritter load.
You obviously live in a very cost conscious and efficient local authority!

Full marks to the Ian. They were indeed butterbeans, although Professor Yaffle saw through their subterfuge.
