I don't think this site is going to be able to help for Chrysler US TSBs.

He's probably going to be better off looking on US sites.

oh, and on the off-chance you didn't catch the original message...

Translation:

I am looking for some information, contained in a Diagnostic Readout Box update, about how to upgrade the base level software contained on the computer chips within the Power Train Control Module or the Body Control Module.

Has anybody used the Mopar Diagnostic System port to do this ?

All clear now ??

Mark,

Pretty basic stuff really isn't it? - he said with a touch of irony.

Thanks,

Bob

I think it was worth more than a touch !! I had to read it about a squidrillion times before I had any idea what was being spoken about, never mind asked.

I have to confess, I was trying to work out how a module could be "flashing" until I realised it was a verb rather than being used in a decriptive sense.

Brings us back to the three differences between the Brits & the Yanks...

1) We speak English, they don't.
2) When we have a Sporting World Series, we invite other countries
3) When you meet the head of state of the UK, you just go down on one knee.

And I'll give this about 30 seconds before Martyn finds it.

Thanks for the helpful explanation of the question . Your suggestion , that a US helpgroup is more appropriate , is probably accurate and will be passed on. Phil Parker
