METRO GTI - IAN J
I AM INTERESTED IN BUYING A METRO GTI 16V.
THE PROBLEM IS, IS THAT IT WAS A TOTAL WRIGHT OFF IN 1994.
THE CAR IS A 1993 K REG WITH 70000 ON THE CLOCK 8 MONTHS MOT AND IN GOOD COND.
IS IT WORTH ME BUYING IT AND IF SO HOW MUCH FOR?

I wouldn't touch it mate. Apart from the fact it will be very difficult if not impossible to sell on what is so special about a Metro Gti? There are many better hatches you could get for good money, 2nd hand cars are so low in price these days.

Why not look round more, get an idea of what you wanna spend, including insurance etc and then post back some choices?

If it drives well enough any you're paying a monkey (£500) or less, why worry about re-sale prospects?
