For information and comments. Is this a "badged" product?

For anyone looking for a cheap source....

Noticed in CostCo yesterday that they are offering Chevron synthetic engine oil
(5W40) for around £11/4litres (plus VAT).

Can't vouch for the quality of the oil but expect its fine for most of us, just
says synthetic, so assume its a ful synth, not semi

Just a friendly warning,

This Chevron oil is highly likely to be a american imported oil (a lot of Costco stock is US imported), so watch the specification codes on the pack, they may not comply with a manufacturers european specs for engines.

I remember it does conform to UK specs, I don't remember which ones exactly, but I would have felt comfortable using it in my Xsara, but I had built up a stock of Total oil at home.
