Just out of idle curiosity prompted by the Peugeot Watchdog thread I clicked on the Vehicle recalls database

What on earth is an Al-Ko Kober?
or an Arvinmeritor?
Ayats?

there are loads of them I have never heard of!
There has been no recall on an AL-Ko Kober BTW, must get one of those, safer than a Peugeot it seems

Alko Kober make chassis and stabilisers for caravans and motorhomes.
Ayats are a Spanish (I think) company who design and make bodies for coaches.
Lord knows what the other two do ;-)

I am surprised that Mark (RLBS) hasn't put you right on this since Al-Ko Kober were for many years in RLBS not far from Automotive Products but now have a very new factory in Southam, Warwickshire, opposite Southam Tyres, importer of BF Goodrich and other tyres. Judging by the chassis always parked outside they do a big line in motorhomes and special vehicles needing bespoke chassis and cabs.
