funny noise from engine,found to be power steering fluid levels low. leak from steering rack, only 10 months old!!!!!! power steering fluid below mininum!!!!! whole new rack needed. anyone else with similar gripe????

My previous 156 had a rattly noise when you waggled the wheel, they put a new rack on this! I think they`ve had a few problems with them, so they replace them if theres the slightest problem.

Well, they don't sit at the bottom of the reliability tables for nothing - do they?
Considering what has happened you might want to press them for a new pump too, it won't have done it any good if level was below min...
