2001 Corolla stereo install. - conor
I recently installed a CDX MP40 HU in my Corolla. Problem is that its way down the dash behind the gear stick and is very difficult to see it. On earlier models of the Corolla the stereo is at the top of the dash. The stereo in a 2001 model is split with the tape deck at the bottom and the tuner moulded into the dash at the top. It is removeable but you need the correct adaptor to fit the hole.

Does anyone know of anywhere that an adaptor can be made so that a stereo can be installed at the top of the dash? Autoleads say they dont have one.
