PS - PR {P}
Does anyone know what "PS" stands for when referring to the power of a car? Ive noticed it used instead of BHP?
PS - J.B.
Dead simple; It stands for "Pferdestärke" It's the metric equivalent of horsepower.Hardly any difference but if you want to be pedantic divide PS by 1.0139 to get BHP. Blooming Germans any one might think they invented the car.!!!!!!
Toodlepip.

Oh and of course Pferdestärke actually means Horsepower in German.

Thanks guys. I had noticed the values were almost equal to BHP!

[bunch of silly notes removed]

Enough of the boring and repetitive \"We envy/hate BMW Owners\" comments please.

Am I to assume that something was edited out between PR's thanks and your intervention, Mark?

Yes David, half a dozen wastes of space.
