Would be gratefull if anyone could let me know what the valve clearances should be on a Renault ( 1991 ) Espace 2.9 v6 should be?

I don\'t know, but i suggest you go to your local library or auto spares shop, take a look at the Haynes manual and check it from there, and put it back on the shelf. its the surest and safest way. why rely on word of mouth if you have there in the book?

If only Haynes did a manual for the 2.9 v6, or I would have ;(

Info for Espace V6 with Z7W 712 engine, source trade data book...
Inlet .10mm Exhaust .25mm Set when cold.
Actually I see those settings ar correct for all the V6 Renaults in my book so they should be OK whichever exact engine code you have.

It's something the trade have to pay £50+ for on each subject...service info, abs, diesels, repair times, timing belts etc etc.
I have a feeling Haynes do a DIY version for £25 (?) but I've never ever seen it stocked.
