Punto heater control bulbs - Crinkly Dave

I am trying to fit new bulbs to the heater controls of a 1996 Punto. Ignoring the Haynes suggestion that the fascia had to come off, I managed to remove the heater control panel by pulling off the centre knob to get at the top screw and then undo the 2 at the bottom
The 2 behind the outer knobs were straightforward & easily removed with a pair of pliers.
Logic tells me the one for the bottom slider control (recirculation or fresh air) is hidden behind the slider, but how do I get the slider off to get at it.
