One bit of the Article says £7million to build a new showroom in Cambridge..

How many cars do they need to sell to cover those sort of costs.

What will the hourly rate be for work?

Including staff costs, rates and taxes, I reckon that is a lot of cars to sell, but very nice to see Jaguar doing well.. (till the next downturn)

I get the feeling that article somehow missed proof reading and spell checking.

It's illogical to have only a few large companies selling a product and even more stupid for them to have a huge glass palace in one town, as cars have to be driven to and from there.

Driving prices down? I think it will just fix the prices as it will practically be a monopoly.

I believe it - dealer development policies from major brands always specify a large glass palace as the primary requirement for the establishment of a dealership - preferably in an expensive location adjacent to the other brand's large glass palaces.

All it does is to drive up prices - no wonder it's a case of "we don't open our laptop for less than £120"
