Ford Fiesta 1.0 litre Ecoboost - Petrol - Intermittent Battery Failure in Ford Fiesta - SnapeOwl

Hi,

Have any other owners experienced intermittent battery failures with this model. It has been recovered by the AA on six occasions in the last 18 months with a 'dead battery' following overnight parking. Our local Ford dealer have investigated 6 times and cannot find a fault, although on one occasion they replaced the battery. Any ideas on what might provide a permanent fix?

Sounds like something isn't switching off sometimes.

I hidden light, perhaps in the glovebox.

Or it could be connected to the alarm system or the car radio.

Not seen many problems with these,but did have one with random flat battery issues caused by the phone Bluetooth module.

Can anyone recommend a competent auto electrician within 30 miles radius of Crewe? as the Ford dealer seems unable to diagnose the problem?
