2003 vectra c 2.2 petrol - vectra c not starting

2003 vectra c 2.2 petrol - vectra c not starting - leewilson73

Hi, right the other mornig went out to start the car and just a click, so got a jump start and all ok, so what i thourght. The next day the car deid again put boost pack on and just clicking from the starter motor so replaced the start motor and battery still the same.

Checked all earth straps and voltage all ok but when you turn the key its just clicking from the start motor and the dash lights go on and off with the clicking there no fault codes in the car either?

Anyone with any ideas ?

Clicking sounds like a poor battery or connection problem.

Thanks for that, i found the problem today it was an broken earth under the battery tray, where one earth splits into 3

Nice to see another albeit rare problem with a Vauxhall sorted out easily and cheaply.
