SEAT Exeo ST - SEAT Exeo ST aerial problem - dean94

Staying getting intermittent and worsening radio reception on my 2011 ST. This is virtually the same car as Audi A4 avant so tracked problem down to a very problematic aerial booster used by Audi, loads about this on Audi forums. SEAT confirm the same part number is available to order for my car. However, the forums all show that the location for the booster in the A4 is under the rearmost headliner. I've taken that down and cannot see a booster. Anyone know where the booster is on a 2011 ST. Part no 8E5035225AF.

Perhaps it is in the tailgate?Similar set up to a golf?

Got exactly the same problem! It ain't in the same place as the Audi. Did you find where it was? Spoke to auto electrician and he had no idea. He did suggest tracking back aerial lead to find it, something I'll have to do when I've got time.

I've got an A4 Avant B6, the amp is behind the trim under the back rear passenger side window.

Most of the cargo bay trim has to be removed to get at it.
