Looking to possibly buy one of these to replace my 1.6 mk2 (100bhp). I was getting an overall indicated average of 34mpg from mine. It was just too underpowered and a nightmare for overtaking. Fifth gear was also just too low geared for easy motorway cruising. I realise the 2.0 will be even worse on fuel/tax, but I just can't risk the diesel! I wish I could test drive one to see the power difference, but I more than likely have to travel out of Cornwall to find one.
