Ford Galaxy Tiutanium 2.00 petrol (2010) - Engine Malfunction light.. - Crystal1943

Engine malfunction light comes on occasionally. Long journeys /short journeys

Mechanic tested with computer. Only problem showing (once) was 'empty of fuel' light, Tank was 3/4 full.

Mechanic seems at a loss as the fault is intermittant.

What diagnostic kit is being used? you may need better equipt that is able to interogate the system in more depth.

Car was in garage for three days - but when driven by mechanic, the light did not come on. Problem is that it is intermittant. Drove 120 miles and it did not light up.

Yesterday, drove two miles and it stayed on!
