ford focus c max 1.8 petrol 2005 - petrol consumtion - Anz

just wondering running about town getting low figures but on a run of a round trip of over 100miles getting around 40 mpg and this is motorway driving,is this about right for this model.

I would say that 40 mpg out of a 10 year old 1.8 C-Max petrol is a minor miracle.

Agreed. I can't recall ever getting 40 mpg out of our 1.8 petrol C-Max even on a run. I'm guessing sticking to 60 - 65 mph on a motorway it would be possible, but at 70 - 75 mph it will be around 35 or 36 mpg.
