Have you checked the manual to see how the light and glowplugs work? On Peugeot diesels the glow plug light doesn't come on at all unless its really cold (minus something degrees).

would it be the problem with the plugs them selves i start it in morning by attching the jump lead pos to the plug rail to heat the plugs ive changes the solunoid but theres another black box next to the large fuse and it an isuzu 1.7 once its running its sweet as a nut

The glow plug relay and the dash warning light are controlled from the glow timer relay(7 pin).Check the connections here.There is also a coolant temp sensor in the water system that is part of the circuit.
