Just had waterpump and charger belt done at vw two weeks later car lost power started misfiring and kicking out lots of white smoke vw have car back and am waiting to find out what is wrong with it does anybody know and could offer some advise please surely vw are responsible as car was fine before just had a leaky pump please help

Maybe if the belt broke or the pump failed, but until you know what happened hard to say
