Mitsubishi Shogun Sport - overheating problem - banger467

please help

i have a 54 plate shogunsport which keeps over herting, i have had the head gasket,rad and thermostat done

the system keeps pushing the water into the overflow container on the inner wing and that then overflows

does anyone know what colud be causing this and is this a simple fix??

the tempture gauge hits half way after a mile or so and blow out hot air

we have also changed the water pump when we the head gasket was done.

i got the engine pressure tested yesterday and this came back fine.

I assume you have checked teh radiator is not blcoked or silted up by felling teh lower part when engine is hot. (It should be hot as well - if not then it's silted up).

Faulty thermostat?

Have you tested for exhaust gasses in coolant?

Check the electric fan works.
