peugeot 205 - car jack bottle points - cornwall13

Hi

My car has jacking points on the sills. My scissor jack goes on these.

Ive just been given a bottle jack, it has a cross haired at the top and was wondering whether i could use the sill jacking points?

Or do i have to find a jacking point under the car?

I think you could, but it might be a bit unstable. A bottle jack would work well under the front subframe. Can't think of a safe spot at the rear.
