from view point of fuel consumption for a passenger car which of following techology for engine is the best solution?

1- dowsizing with turbo GDI

2-dowsizing with turbo MPFI

Presume by MPFI you mean multipoint fuel injection, and GDI direct fuel injection, petrol in both instances?

Would not expect consumption differences to be significant, driving style and traffic/road conditions will have much more effect.
