VW Golf MK V TDi 2008 - Electrical Problem - theundertaker

Afew days ago i noticed my heater fan was not working checked the fuses and all seemed ok, whilst trying to find out what to do next the heater started working again, and then promptly stopped again, after further investigation my front/ rear washers as well as the rear wiper also are not working, they are all now working intermitantly, i have not checked anything else, i am just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction on what to do next, thanks in advance

I think you will find this to be a problem with the electrical load relay.It is clipped into the relay board located to the right of steering column ,behind lower dash panel and a plastic cover.There are a few relays on the circuit board and the one that is suspect is in the bottom right hand corner and usually has the number 460 printed on the top.
