Audi Quattro - Audi Quattro radio advert - SteveLee
There's an ad on LBC (and presumably other radio stations) with what sounds like a Rally navigator but turns out to be school run Mum dropping the brat off. The pace notes tell you to "mind the leaves" and "watch for puddle" - why? Can't the Audi's "legendary" 4WD system cope with a puddle and a few leaves? What an own goal!

There was another Audi radio advert I found amusing a couple of months ago : the voice was telling you that an approved used Audi was 'closer than you think'.

Considering that most of them seem to be 6 inches off anyone's rear bumper, that must be pretty close

Yes, this advert also interrupts Classic FM (or should I say that the music often gets in the way of the endless promos and handful of commercials, but that is another matter)

My thought was that the DSG must be faulty, because the engine doesn't half seem to be revving high and searching gears for 30mph!

Vorsprung dirk bogarde, or whatever the nonsense is.

Dealership adverts for all makes are terrible and I'm surprised that the manufacturers entertain it.
