They don't send forms out, y'know the ones where you explain in writing how the accident happened and draw a sketch. Now it's all done over the telephone verbally where the advisor makes a judgment based on your explaination and advises if you have a chance of a no fault claim or not.. Bad idea. There are problems here. Judgment is dependent on how well the advisor was listening and the articulation of the their customer. Whereas filling in a form you have time to get the facts straight in your head word it precisely with the right choice of words that best describe the accident.
Why they have changed the time honoured method of making a claim baffles me as my time with the advisor took about half an hour of which I had to explain it twice to her as she was getting the wrong impression. I can't see how it's cost effective..
Can I insist they send me forms?
