Mini Cooper R56 Dec 2006 - Electric Wing Mirrors Fault - scamp206

Hi, I have Dec 2006 R56 Mini Cooper. Recently I had to replace Window Regulator on Driver Side. However since it has been replaced neither of the electric mirrors work. I have checked all fuses and all appear ok. I have also replaced mirror adjusting switch in driver's door but still no joy. I did notice at the time that the bulb on bottom of driver door had also blown. That bulb has been replaced but it still doesn't light and wing mirrors still not working. Concerned as MOT due next month. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. The regulator came from a breakers merchant and window works fine.

Mini Cooper R56 Dec 2006 - Electric Wing Mirrors Fault - elekie&a/c doctor

The electric adjust part of the mirror is not an mot test item,so no problem there.It may be possible that the wiring to the mirror circuit was damaged when the window reg was replaced.Also check the wiring harness where it passes from the door pillar to the door through the rubber boot.
