Car Sharing - Simon H

I've taken the following passage from www.nationalcarshare.co.uk/

"Lift sharing", "ride-sharing", "car-sharing" or "carpooling" - it doesn't matter what you call it, it boils down to the same thing - two or more people sharing a car to get from A to B rather than driving alone. The benefits are numerous both for yourself, your family, your community and the environment. You save money on running costs, you save time looking for parking spaces and you help to save the planet by reducing your carbon footprint.

Do you car share? Why? Why not?

How do you feel about (the idea of) car sharing?

What do you like about (the idea of) car sharing?

What do you dislike about (the idea of) car sharing?

Is this another survey?

anyway..

It’s perfectly fine if:

A) The people all get-along with each other

B) The crucial factor: All the people CONSISTENTLY start and finish work at the same time. These days, employers frequently lean-on employees to stay late with little warning. (My own contract merely states a minimum number of hours per week: Employees are expected to put-in extra work “as and when the project requires” …and forget time-and-a-half or even standard-rate, even at weekends : for extra hours we get zero extra money.)

Colleagues have started-up car-shares in the past: They usually disintegrate after about 3 or 4 weeks.
